Zebulon (“Zeb”) Law brings more than 30 years of legal and tax experience to his work advising families, trustees, and beneficiaries in complex estate and trust matters. Having represented many of Southern California’s most prominent families, he combines technical excellence in law and taxation with a practical, compassionate understanding of fiduciary responsibilities.
Zeb began his career at KPMG and later became a partner at two respected Orange County law firms. In 2002, he founded his own practice, which ultimately evolved into Law Stein Anderson, LLP, where he continues to serve as a founding partner. He earned his bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Long Island University, C.W. Post College (summa cum laude), his J.D. from The American University, Washington College of Law, and his LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University. Throughout his career, Zeb has focused on the responsible management and administration of trusts, estates, and family wealth. His background in estate planning, taxation, and trust administration enables him to guide fiduciaries and families with both technical precision and personal insight. Zeb also leads a team of attorneys experienced in complex trust and probate litigation. His perspective as both attorney and fiduciary allows him to navigate sensitive family dynamics and resolve disputes with fairness and discretion.
An educator and scholar, Zeb has authored numerous articles in leading trust, estate, and tax publications and lectures nationally on estate planning, taxation, and fiduciary administration. Since 2002, he has served as an adjunct professor at Chapman University’s Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where he teaches Estate and Gift Tax and Wills and Trusts.
Zeb remains active in his community, supporting Orange County charities and serving on the Chapman University Estates & Trusts Endowment Advisory Committee.
